New York Brooklyn tattoo artist’s lawyer said they are they will sue the city and the NYPD for 220 million dollars because the tattoo artist was sodomized by the police with his baton.
Stephen Jackson, one of the tattoo artist’s lawyer, said his client Michael Mineo (tattoo artist)’s right was violated in a subway station platform in Prospect Park.
Stephen Jackson also said “We are filing a formal lawsuit. It is another step towards justice,”
This alleged subway station attack was done by Officer Richard Kern from NYPD. While 2 other cops were accused of helping covering up this incident, Kern is formally charged. However the officer’s lawyer claims he is innocent.
On that day cops accused Mineo of smoking pot so Mineo fled into the subway station and was finally pinned down and handcuffed, said by Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes.
The tattoo artist Michael Mineo’s story is somewhat different. He claimed that cops pulled down his pants and started to sodomizing him with the police baton until he was screaming loudly. Afterwards he was issued a ticket for disorderly conduct and let go.
Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes also said that the cops were warning Mineo not to report this attack, or else he will be charged with felony.
